Surrealist imagery punctuates the catalog. Created in Adobe Photoshop, they turned drab stock photography into something whimsical and theme-reinforcing.
Images clipped from their background added visual variety and emphasis into the rigid grid system of the catalog.
Because of the complexity of the content and the near-daily changes, I developed a method of file organization that allowed the design to reflow if any one product was removed. In this spread, each photo and its description were text boxes and tables within a larger two column text box with a paragraph style that controlled spacing. With minimal redesign time necessary, products could be added and subtracted according to the client's ever-changing needs.
